Identifies Visitors Directly on Your Door - Secure Sight modernizes the conventional entryway peephole and smart displays by projecting a real-time, scaled image of visitors directly onto the interior of your door. Safety focused, intuitive and completely hands-free — identifying who is outside without ever needing a phone or secondary screens.
Original Pinch Deck: door projection security system that transforms a closed door into a live visual portal using exterior cameras, embedded vision processing, and interior projection technology—allowing users to safely see outside without opening the door.
This innovation brief outlines the Sure Sight Door Projection Security System, including the project concept, problem statement, innovation claim, intended use cases, evaluation criteria, prototype design, and development roadmap. It documents the foundation of the project and explains how the system improves front-door visibility by projecting an exterior camera view onto the inside of the door.
This developing Bill of Materials outlines the major hardware components, estimated costs, and prototype recommendations for the Sure Sight Door Projection Security System. It includes the compute platform, camera system, projection hardware, sensors, audio, power, mounting, networking, and early cost estimates. This BOM is still in development and should not be considered final, as parts, pricing, and design requirements may change as prototype testing continues.
This document records the technical command history and troubleshooting process used during the Sure Sight SIP demo setup. It includes SSH access from Windows PowerShell, Jetson display configuration, projector orientation testing, Ring/Chromium launch testing, standby screen setup, fullscreen helper scripts, and Git commits documenting the working demo workflow

This GitHub repository contains the working Sure Sight SIP demo scripts and support files used to run the current door projection prototype. It includes the standby screen launcher, Ring Live View demo launcher, fullscreen helper, projector color correction script, demo runbook, and project assistance log used to document the testing and setup process.
I served as the inventor, lead designer, and systems developer for the Sure Sight Door Projection Security System. My role included concept creation, hardware integration, embedded systems development, AI vision implementation, prototype testing, and overall project management. I was responsible for researching projection technologies, configuring Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson hardware, integrating cameras and sensors, and developing the core functionality that enables a live exterior view to be projected onto the inside of a closed door.
To achieve the project goals, I collaborated with technology vendors, hardware manufacturers, online engineering resources, and AI development platforms to evaluate components, troubleshoot technical challenges, and refine the system design. The project also involved coordination with potential industry partners for prototype evaluation and future development opportunities.
The outcome of the project was the successful development of a working proof-of-concept security system that demonstrates how embedded AI, computer vision, and projection technology can create a safer and more immersive way for users to monitor activity outside their doors without compromising security.
ChatGPT was used as a project support and documentation tool during the Sure Sight SIP prototype process. Assistance included organizing workflow, troubleshooting Jetson/projector setup issues, documenting measurements, refining the project focus, and GitHub progress updates. Final testing, implementation decisions, and prototype validation were completed by Trinity M. Ison.
